TV Star, Tiktoker and Rapper 'Lil Henry' takes us behind the scenes in his life | ShedlifeNZ Episode 10

Henry Stillwell, better known as Lil Henry, has been on TVNZ, competed at the Special Olympics, built a TikTok following of over 50,000 people, rapped, boxed, and hung out with UFC fighters. He joins Jason at the Shedquarters for Episode 10 and it is one of the more entertaining ones.

The conversation goes all the way back. Childhood, growing up, how he found his way into the different things he does. Henry is a natural storyteller and he does not need much prompting to get into it. There is a lot of laughter in this episode but there is also real substance underneath it.

The TikTok side of things is interesting. A lot of people stumbled across Henry online before they knew anything else about him. He talks about how that started, what it has led to, and what it is actually like building an audience as someone who just puts himself out there and does not try to be anything other than who he is.

He also talks about the Special Olympics and what competing at that level means to him. That part of the conversation has some weight to it. Henry is proud of what he has achieved in that space and he talks about it directly and without any fuss.

The UFC connections come up too. He has spent time around some well-known fighters and he has the stories to go with it. If you have followed the NZ boxing and MMA scene you will recognise some of the names he drops.

Henry is the kind of person who makes you feel good just listening to him. Good episode.
